The Journey

My path to founding Longevity Grove wasn’t a straight line—it was a journey defined by a relentless drive to give my absolute best to everything I touched.

That drive was shaped from a very young age. Growing up, I witnessed a profound kind of strength right inside my own home: I watched my Mom step into the deeply demanding role of caregiver for my Dad as his health consistently declined as Multiple Sclerosis advanced. Growing up alongside that quiet, daily devotion planted a lifelong seed in me—a deep reverence for family resilience and a firsthand understanding of what it takes to protect a loved one's dignity.

As I grew older, that same inner fire came alive on the baseball diamond, followed by a diverse career path where I constantly pushed the boundaries of what I could achieve. Eventually, the calling to help others in their most fragile moments led me to become a paramedic at age 37, dedicating my days to answering the call when people were at their most vulnerable.

But life has a way of shifting our perspective. At 42, a sudden back injury changed everything. It forced me to stop, reevaluate, and completely rethink the concept of health. I realized true vitality isn't just about crisis management; it starts at the ground level, built on foundational pieces like intentional nutrition and proactive wellness.

That realization brought my journey full circle. I wanted to help families long before a crisis happened, drawing on the clinical urgency of my paramedic years, the foundational wellness I discovered through recovery, and the deep empathy I learned from my Mother’s devotion. Today, Longevity Grove is the culmination of that entire life path—a boutique partnership designed to help individuals live at home longer, preserve their absolute autonomy, and truly thrive in the healing comfort of their own sanctuary.
